Happy November!

It's here- the first day of November. I can't wait to tell you about the new flavours we are offering this month, 

but first, let's talk cake. Look at this:

The 2 beauties above are my favourites from the little while. Both made for some very special gals, for 2 very different occasions. These are perfect examples of what you get when you mix a little bit of imagination with a little bit of experimentation- the possibilities for fun, unique cakes are endless!

Ok, let's get down to business- this month we're giving you pure, cozy comfort food in the form of coffee and tea! "Why, what do you mean?" (insert puzzled look and quizzical head scratch here) "how could one possibly fit all of the delicious aspects of my morning ritual into a cupcake?" Well... we did! Firstly, a chai latte cupcake(!) A delicious, richly flavoured chocolate cupcake paired with a chai spiced buttercream- and lemme tell you, that chai frosting is no joke. It's filled with cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and more! It's your fav drink from the coffee shop in a cupcake. 

Get ready Earl Grey fans (I know you're out there), because we did it! We made a delicious earl grey cupcake with the most amazing bergamont flavour in a light and spongy cupcake. It goes just perfect with the swirl of heavenly frosting on top: earl grey buttercream spiked with orange zest. I can't decide which one I like better-I'm a die hard Earl Grey fan. BUT, the can't-live-without-coffee-let-alone-chai side of me is really into the Chai latte cupcake.
