We're back in the bakery after a lovely, restful end of summer break. It's hard to believe that summer is winding down: the kids are back at school, the cottage is locked up for another year and there is a bit of a frosty nip in the air. It's always hard to say goodbye to summer, but luckily, the end of summer means lots of yummy months await us. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the most delicious holidays... wouldn't you agree?
Speaking of eating... there's a new cupcake in town and this one means business:
A moist apple cupcake with a cinnamon buttercream on top- the special thing about this guy is the mean layer of caramel-bourbon sauce hiding between the cake and the frosting; whip out a fork for this one, he's a mouthful!
