We're Back in the Kitchen/ New cupcake of the Month!

Happy New Year from all of the staff at Yummy Stuff!
After a long and relaxing holiday, we are back in the kitchen baking up all kinds of goodies. We are particularly excited about 1 delicious treat... it is our new cupcake of the month for January! Its a delicious, fluffy angel food cake cupcake with raspberry filling- topped with whipped cream. Sound delicious, doesn't it? Are you ready for the most exciting part of this cupcake? The bottom half of this tasty treat is fat free!

We also wanted to let you know that, due to a huge amount of requests, we will now be renting our cake and cupcake stands to our customers. We have a really great stock of beautiful stands to fit cupcakes, cookies and squares. If you are interested in renting one of these stands from Yummy Stuff, please feel free to email your inquiry to info@yummystuff.ca or call the shop at (416)531-9732.

Holiday Hours

After a very busy holiday season, we are closing shop for a little while to relax and spend some much needed time with our family and friends. Please note that the shop will be closing on Christmas eve around noon and we will stay closed until January 9th 2010.

Our bakers will be back in the kitchen on the 5th of January to start re-stocking our pastry case will all things yummy. If you would like to place an order for pick up on the 9th of January, please feel free to email us at info@yummystuff.ca and someone will get back to you after the 5th.

Cupcake of the month!

Our cupcake of the month for December landed on our shelves a few weeks ago and the response has been great!

Its a gingerbread cupcake with either a chocolate buttercream or a vanilla-chai buttercream. Very festive and very yummy!

Happy Holidays From Yummy Stuff!

The holiday season is in full swing here at Yummy Stuff! Our bakers have been working overtime making delicious Christmas treats for all of our customers to enjoy. We are still baking all of your Yummy Stuff favorites- but we've added a bunch of festive goodies for you to enjoy.

We bet your holiday guests will never want to leave when you serve them a Chocolate Orange mousse tart for dessert. Or, how about a gingerbread cake covered in a chocolate ganache glaze? What makes the perfect host gift? A big box of Ginger Sesame shortbread, Lace cookies sandwiched with Orange cream, Rugelach bars and, of course, Gingerbread cookies!

Stop by the store and do some Christmas shopping! Decorated gingerbread cookies make excellent stocking stuffers. Or, pick up some cupcakes, customized with Christmas toppers!

As always, we need 7 days notice for custom cake and decorated cookie orders and 48 hours notice for holiday cookies, tarts and squares.

New Cupcake of the Month!

It has been a busy few weeks here at Yummy Stuff. So busy, in fact that we are just now getting around to posting our November cupcake of the month!

It's a chocolate cupcake with a salted caramel buttercream, topped off with a drizzle of caramel and a sprinkling of salt. We have barely been able to keep these guys in our pastry case long enough to bake another batch! De-lish!

In other news, the bakers are gearing up for the busy Holiday season ahead. We will keep you posted on the delicious holiday treats being baked. If you are interested in having Yummy Stuff create a unique cake for your holiday party, please remember that we need 7 days notice for custom cakes.
In a pinch and need a cake tomorrow? Relax, we have cakes for sale in the store- give us a call and we can hold it until you get here.

A great cake from last weekend!

This is a photo of a barnyard cookie cake that we made for a happy customer last weekend! She had seen our jungle cookie cake on the website and asked if we could do something with barnyard animals instead. We talked about options and ideas, and came up with this fun cake.

October's Cupcake of the Month

In celebration of fall's arrival and the spirit of Thanksgiving, we have created a Sweet Potato Cupcake with Orange Cream Cheese Frosting topped with Pecan Praline. That's a mouth full, and it tastes so yummy you'll be sure to be back for more.

We are also featuring Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting for the fall season. Once the snow starts flying they will be gone, so be sure to come in and pick some up.

By popular demand we have decided to continue the Key Lime cupcakes for the time being... they have been flying from our pastry case and have quickly become a favorite of many customers!
